Photos will be taken Saturday, April 10.
opening day

All teams will be participating in games on opening day, Saturday April 3. A full day of activities including games and player introductions are planned.

PLAYER SPONSORSHIP/SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Family financial limitations should never keep worthy youngsters from participating in our program. Please consider sponsoring a player who would, otherwise, not have the opportunity to participate.
ADYB will consider giving a scholarship to a child, if the child’s school counselor’s approval is given. Please contact Tony Campbell (tstkcampbell@hotmail.com) for more information.
make-up games

All cancelled games (rain-outs, etc.) will be made up on the earliest possible date (normally the Saturday following the cancellation). They will be scheduled in the same order as originally scheduled unless special arrangements are approved. Game times will be determined based on weather and field conditions.

COACHES, TEAM MOTHERS, AND PARENT INVOLVEMENT

Dixie Youth Baseball is an independent organization dedicated to the sports education of our children. Please remember that the success of our program every year is totally dependent on VOLUNTEERS giving their time. Parental involvement is essential to continue our program. If you are interested in coaching, please attend our coaches’ meeting or contact a board member. If you can serve as a team mother, please notify your child’s coach.

Protective equipment must be worn by all catchers while squatting (7/8, 9/10, and 11/12).

Batting helmets must be worn at all times when batting or running the bases (practice and games).  These batting helmets must have a face mask attached.

No warm-ups at the North and South entrances.  Also the area between fields 6 and 7 should not be used to allow safe access to the batting cages.  This does not apply to pitchers and catchers warming up in the bullpens.

No soft-toss into fences.
